It’s staggering when you think about the over 30 trillion cells all working to maintain balance, harmony, and energized living inside the walls of your being. That’s one massive stadium of fans all cheering for you! It’s exhilarating if you allow yourself to really think about just how fantastically awesome that is. Each cell in the body is 'digesting’ the world around you and what you say, think, feel, eat, do, even who you surround yourself with – impacts your cellular health.

I spend a lot of time on the computer and have done so for years. About 4 years ago I started becoming acutely aware of eye fatigue and with glaucoma, and cataracts on both sides of my family – set out to educate myself.

I think that most of us take our eyes for granted. I always assumed that I would have perfect vision. Glasses were for other people. But like so many friends, I too awoke one day to see a blurry child asking for some breakfast.

It's pretty astounding that I didn't get to know my liver until late in my thirties. Naively, I always assumed that the liver was really just impacted from alcohol abuse for that was the only time anyone in my culture ever spoke of liver health. Now in my forties with two daughters of my own I am spreading the virtues of loving the liver to almost everyone I speak with.
